Sofia's Car Rentals reserves the right of these terms and can update these terms at any time.
Car rental policy & General terms :
| Drivers age: | Minimum age is 21 years old. |
| Drivers license: | The driving license of the person renting the vehicle must have been issued one year before date of rental. A valid drivers license, Greek, European Community, or international is needed. |
| Minimum rental: | One day (24 hours). |
| Traffic Fines: | All traffic fines or tickets resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law during the rental period are at the renter's Expense. |
| Gasoline: | It is payable by the renter (the renter will return the vehicle with the same fuel that it was delivered or will be charged for the difference missing). |
| Baby seats: | They are offered after the reservation with extra fee. |
| Car roof racks: | They are offered after the reservation with extra fee. |
| Damages: | From bad use , negligence, fraud, vilolence at the interior part, at the under part of the car, at the wheels and tyres are at the renters expense (are not coverded by any type of insurance). |
| Ferrying the car: | Only with the prior written agreement of Sofia's Car Rentals. |
| Rental Deposit: | A rental deposit (of the deductible amount) may be asked , in form of major credit card or cash. |
Services with no extra charge :
* Delivery and / or collection at any place requested with no extra charge.
* Car disfunction , Sofia's Car Rentals will immediately replace without charging.
* Unlimited kilometers are included in the price.
* 24 Hour assistance Is included in the price.
* Vehicle servicing is exclusively done by Sofia's Car Rentals.
* All taxes ( 13 % V.A.T. & All local taxes ) are included in the price.
* Road map available with rental.
* No extra fee for second driver.
* CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) insurance.
Insurance terms & coverage :
* All authorized drivers of Sofia's Car Rentals are covered against fire and liability to third parties for death , injury or damage
to the property of the third , also all passengers on Sofia's vechile’s.
STANDARD PRICE RATE INCLUDES:
A. property damages to third parties until 100,000 .00 €
B. Injuries and death to third parties until 500,000.00 €
C. Law protection until 5,000.00 €
D. theft & fire
E.CDW (COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER) : ,this is a full insurance with a deductible amount/excess pay
from 300.oo € to 700.oo € (plus 13% V.A.T.) , depending on the car category.
However with CDW INSURANCE the renter is still responsible for all damages that will occur to the windows,
under the vehicle and to the damaged wheels.
With a extra fee (depending on the vehicle category) per day the renter came obtain :
FCDW (FULL COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER), This is a full insurance without a deductible amount/excess pay , the renter
with this insurance pays 0 for damages.
However with FCDW INSURANCE the renter is still responsible for all damages that will occur to the windows,
under the vehicle and to the damaged wheels.
The damages caused by a renter who drives drunk or under narcotics are not covered by any insurance.
The renter has to take care of the vehicle and not to drive it in abnormal roads and not to be used for any kind of illegal usage.
