All clients must have a European or International driving License valid and held at least one (1) year.

If you have an E.U. driving license valid, at least one year before the rental it is not necessary to hold an international one also.

No deposit is needed for a reservation to be made. In some exceptional cases (e.g. reservations in High Season) a 15% of the rental will be needed to secure your reservation.

All you have to do is to provide us with your Flight details, arriving time and our agent will be there in the greeting hall or outside hall with SOFIA’S CAR RENTAL sign to deliver the car to you there or a free shuttle bus service to our airport office which is located 120 meters outside the new airport building.

- All damages caused by a driver which is not authorized by the rental agreement (contract).
- All damages caused by bad driving – negligence
- All damages caused by driving off payment – asphalt roads (not meaning Jeeps 4x4).

CDW protects the renter against the cost of repairing or replacing the rented vehicle for the damages that will occur during the rental period mentioned on the contract.

CDW , However is not a full insurance Package and it does not relieve the renter 100% of the responsibility for the rented vehicle , there are limitations.

The renter’s responsibility is reduced to 450.oo € for the Groups (A , A1 , B) , 500.oo € for the Group (B1) , 700,oo € for the Groups ( C , C1 , J , F ) , 1000,oo € for the Groups ( M , G). Regardless of the CDW package the renter is still liable for full repair of damages caused to the underside of the vehicle , the windows , the wheels or tires or if the damages are due to violations of the Greek Traffic Law.

FCDW (Full Collision Damage Waiver) covers 100% the renters responsibility of all Collision damages by signing and paying a extra fee (depending on the time season) for Groups (A , A1, B, B1, ) , for Groups (C, C1, J , G , F) , for The Group (M).

After your request of booking with this type of insurance , we will answer to you for the the final price, (this is always depending on the season period).

FCDW does not cover all damages done to the wheels , tires , under the vehicle windows , damages or theft to personal belongings kept in the car , or traffic fines.

The same applies for theft of small parts of the car (i.e. mirrors , antennas , wipers etc.), does not cover damages caused while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or narcotics or by a driver which is not declared in the rental agreement or if the car is used in any illegal action. .
